Mulkhura HPP | Pre-Feasibility Study | 44 MW | 176 GWh/a

The Pre-Feasibility Study, completed in 2017, evaluated different alternatives for development of HPP Mulkhura. The selected option, a run-of-river scheme with an installed capacity of 44 MW and annual generation of 176 GWh, utilizes the flow of Mulkhura River just downstream of its confluence with Mestiachala River, close to Mestia town. Large parts of the catchment are constituted by glaciers which flows are highly seasonal.
