Domestic Study Tour in Indonesia

February 2023

As part of our Accompanying Measures Project carried out for PT PLN we organized a domestic study tour in Indonesia in February 2023. Together with 20 colleagues of PLN we visited several hydro power plants in Sulawesi. This was combined with workshops dealing with Health and Safety, O&M and pump storage specifics. This study tour was a follow up action to the Internatinal Study Tour that took place in Bavaria in August 2022.

Environmental and Social Consulting for 1000 Islands

September 2022

Hydropower Evolutions is currently working in Indonesia and leading Environmental and Social components on the 1000-Islands Renewable Energy for Electrification Program (REEP) – a hydroelectric power Project funded by the German development bank KfW, and developed by PLN, Indonesia's state electricity company. The Project consists of three hydroelectric power projects in Sulewesi, and one project in Papua. HE is proud to be supporting PLN's efforts towards a national strategy of sustainable power development.

Accompanying Measures for PT PLN (Persero)

August 2018

The Indonesian national electricity corporation, PT PLN (Persero) awards a contract to Uniper for capability building related to hydropower projects. The measure is financed by German KFW under PLN/KFW's Sustainable Hydropower Program. In Uniper the project is executed by Hydropower Evolutions.

Pre-Feasibility Study Romuku

July 2015

HE successfully completes Pre-Feasibility Study for HPP Romuku, resulting in a 220 MW hydro project producing 1 TWh per year.

World Bank selects Hydro­power Evolutions

May 2015

World Bank/IFC selects Hydro­power Evolutions as pre­ferred partner for hydro­power dam assess­ment in Indo­nesia.
